Shawn and Marlon Wayans put on a high-energy stand up set speckled with some hilarious impressions inside the Pearl at the Palms on Saturday night. Opener WIl Sylvince showed the crowd why he is known as one of the most explosive and up-and-coming comedians around.

Marlon hit the stage first, and as most comedians do, made fun of our Vegas heat before launching into everything from drinking (the phenomenon of white women rallying around the really drunk girl in the group) and of course sports — ending his set with a slow-motion Michael Jordan dunking bit that had the crowd forgiving him for his early jokes and distaste for Kobe Bryant and the LA Lakers.

Shawn then took the stage to talk about life, relationships, kids and music — comparing his parents talking about growing up with Motown to today’s generations looking back fondly on growing up with hip hop, which he followed with some impressions of an old lady singing some — not so clean — hip hop songs.

Both brothers returned to the stage to a standing ovation at the end of the night.
