The Jamaican-American artist, who wore a black T-shirt, white shorts, Nike tennis shoes and a slew of sparkling gold chains, stopped to talk about his upcoming album “Back 2 Life.”

“I took a break from the industry and felt like I had to come back with a real crazy album and this is it,” said Kingston. “I collaborated with Meek Mill, Wale, 2 Chainz, Chris Brown, Wiz Khalifa, Busta Rhymes, T.I., everybody.”

Kingston and his entourage of eight got comfortable at a VIP booth behind the deejay, where he posed for photographs with friends.

The performer hit the stage with his hit song “Take You There.” The singer erupted the crowd as he directed them to sing along to his brand new single, “Beat It.” After his performance, the singer made his way around the pool to mingle with fans.

Kingston’s upcoming album“Back 2 Life” is scheduled to be released on Tuesday, Sept. 10 .

Also spotted at Palms over the weekend was “Wheel of Fortune” host Pat Sajak, who took a break from filming the show to dine at N9NE Steakhouse alongside his producer. Sajak ordered  a dry aged ribeye and a bottle of 1997 Far Niente. After his meal, N9NE’s executive chef Barry Dakake stopped by the table.
