Haute Event: NY Premiere of ‘The Way, Way Back’
Steve Carrell, Toni Collette, AnnaSophia Robb, and Joel McHale came out to the New York Premiere of The Way, Way Back at AMC Loews Lincoln Square. Robb stunned in a Jason Wu dress, alongside former Little Miss Sunshine co-stars Carrell and Collette.
Written and directed by the co-writers of the Oscar Award-winning film The Descendants, the comical and poignant coming-of-age story chronicles a 14-year-old boy’s summer with his mother, her intense boyfriend and his daughter. The reserved boy befriends the manager of a local water park and finds his place in the world.
“She’s the best. She is a great actor. She is sweet, funny. Just a pleasure to get to spend another couple months with her,” beamed Carrell about on-screen girlfriend Collette.
