Haute Event: Montegrappa Introduces New Sylvester Stallone-Designed ‘Chaos’ Watch at Westime

Montegrappa unveiled its new “Chaos” watch during an exclusive soiree in West Hollywood late last week.

The new timepiece was designed by none other than Sylvester Stallone, who was on hand at Westime‘s Sunset Blvd. location to debut the unique new piece.

Adorned with skulls, reptiles, and roads of fire, this limited edition collector’s item is an extension of its popular pen line of the same name, also designed by Stallone.

The watch is currently available in sterling silver or gold, with or without enamel. The sterling silver Chaos watch (333 pieces each; 666 pieces total) is priced at $6,200 (full color enamel $6,400). The 18k gold edition (33 pieces each; 66 total) is priced at $85,750 (full color enamel $85,950).

Each watchcase is complemented by a leather strap and skull motif buckle. The black, bi-level, brushed guilloché dial with luminous hands features applied Roman numerals encased by a sapphire crystal. Within the 54×43 mm-diameter forged sterling silver or 18k solid gold case beats the Swiss ETA 2824 movement.

Said Stallone during the launch: “Montegrappa is a brand that I have always respected. They are artisans, so it has been a lot of fun working together. For me, the Chaos is a work of art, a special watch that we’re excited to show everyone.”

Montegrappa CEO Giuseppe Aquila,  Westime President Greg Simonian, Westime Founder John Simonian and Montegrappa North American Distributor Joel Blumberg were also in attendance at the event.
