Limelight Hotel Hosts Full Moon Cruiser Ride

When there’s a full moon in Aspen, people flock to the outdoors–whether it’s hiking up Buttermilk Mountain in the winter for a bonfire and cruising around town on bikes in the summer. Now, the Limelight Hotel has made it an official event. On Monday, July 22, join other cyclists for a bike tour through Aspen’s historic West End, downtown Aspen, the John Denver Sanctuary on the Rio Grande Trail and back into town to munch on $10 pizzas and $4 beers at the Limelight Hotel.

Locals are asked to bring their own bike, and hotel guests will be provided with bikes to borrow. The ride begins at 8 p.m. at the Limelight Hotel (355 S. Monarch St.). The next full moon rides are scheduled for Aug. 21 and Sept.19. For more information, call 970-925-3025.
