Haute Event: The Edeyo Gives Hope Ball
The 6th Annual Edeyo Gives Hope Ball celebrated its philanthropic efforts and star-studded support with more than 300 guests at Highline Ballroom. Presented by Nike and Avi Oster and sponsored by HBO, Maserati of Long Island, last night’s soirée raised more than $200,000 for Edeyo Foundation.
Co-founded by Unik Ernest and Michael Pradieu, the Edeyo Foundation improves the future of children in Haiti by rebuilding schools and giving students a safe learning environment, along with healthy food and water on a daily basis. The Foundation has several notable ambassadors and chairs, including Nigel Barker, who honored Nancy Myers-Alverez with the Edeyo Ambassador Award. The gala’s host, Stephen Baldwin, presented the night’s special honorees Sharon Bush with the Edeyo Hope Award, Dr. Jane Aronson with the Edeyo Humanitarian Award and Cindy Stagoff with Edeyo Empowerment Award.
The successful ball started with a cocktail reception and silent auction with memorable guests including Geoffrey Bradfield, Kamela Forbes, Marc Leder, Susan Gossage, Stewart Rahr, Crissy Barker and Lady Liliana Cavendish. After the reception and award ceremony, guests enjoyed a seated dinner with authentic Haitian cuisine and an incredible live auction, including a Kenya safari and tickets to the Grammys and Super Bowl. Grammy Award-winning artist, Bridget Kelly, and DJ Cassidy performed to close the spectacular event.
Haute Living is proud to have been a partner in the event.
