Haute Event: Kelis Plays the Palms Pool
R&B singer Kelis held full court as the host of Ditch Fridays at the Palms Pool on Friday afternoon.
Known for her catchy anthem “Milkshake,” the Grammy-nominated artist looked fashionable on the red carpeting rocking a low-cut red tank top, denim shorts with a black and gold Moschino belt, a white fringed shaw and oversized sunglasses. Kelis finished off her stylish look with a chunky gold-linked necklace and candy-red lips.
“I really want to check out the Italian restaurant, Nove, while I’m here but I’ll definitely stop by N9NE Steakhouse,” Kelis mentioned. “I’m all about steaks and it’s one of my favorite restaurants to visit when I’m in Las Vegas.”
While walking through the dayclub, the beaming beauty stopped to take photos with several admiring fans and even stopped to compliment an onlooker on her chic bathing suit.
Kelis hit the stage in full effect, rocking out with the crowd to hit songs including “Milkshake,” “Jerk Ribs” and “Bounce,” her smash hit with Calvin Harris. Currently, Kelis is working on her new album, “FOOD,” which is scheduled to be released in the fall.
