Haute Event: Autism Speaks to Young Professionals
More than 400 high-profile Manhattanites braved the 100 degree heat and headed to the Highline Ballroom in NYC for the 5th Annual Autism Speaks to Young Professionals Summer Soiree. The event raised money and awareness of the disorder, which effects one out of every 88 individuals in the U.S.
Guests enjoyed cocktails and passed hors d’ oeuvres, while listening to performances by celebrity DJs TCUP, CHACHI and Caleb Loftus. To date, the Autism Speaks to Young Professionals initiative has raised more than $375,000, which has helped fund biomedical research into the causes, prevention, treatments and cure for autism.
