Haute 100 NY Update: Daniel Craig Officially Cast as Bond in 2015
Daniel Craig, the face of James Bond for the past three legendary films, has officially been cast as the lead role in the franchise’s upcoming installment. In 2015, Craig will reprise his role as the iconic British spy, alongside Skyfall director Sam Mendes and John Logan, Oscar Award-winning writer.
According to BBC News, producers Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli said, “We’re really excited to be working once again with Daniel Craig, Sam Mendes and John Logan.” Mendes previously directed Revolutionary Road and American Beauty. Currently, he is concentrating on his musical stage production of Roald Dahl’s Charlie And The Chocolate Factory.
The 24th film in the series has yet to be named. Bond aficionados can look forward to its November 6, 2015 release date.
