Flashdance Themed Brunch at Kit Kat

“What a feeling!” Flashdance The Musical is coming to Chicago (August 6-18) and Kit Kat (3700 North Halsted) will pay homage with an over-the-top, Flashdance themed brunch party on Sunday, August 4. The original film will play on Kit Kat’s seven jumbo screens, along with intermittent live performances by Diva Madam X (channeling Jennifer Beals circa 1983). A raffle will be held with eight lucky brunch guests winning a pair of tickets to see Flashdance The Musical at the Cadillac Palace Theatre, courtesy of Broadway in Chicago. Kit Kat’s staff will be dressed to impress in Flashdance-esque attire (think: leg warmers, leotards, off the shoulder sweatshirts and the occasional steel mill welder getup). 

Consulting Chef JoAnn Witherell’s brunch menu will be offered from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. (Chicken and Waffles, Rice Krispie French Toast, Eggs Florentine and more) with an optional $25 prix-fixe that includes two courses and unlimited brunch cocktails (mimosas, sangrias, bloody martinis and Flashdance themed libations, listed below). In addition to their list of over 200 martinis and cocktails, Kit Kat will offer the “What a Feeling!” Champagne Cocktail and”Maniac” Martini for $6 each.
