Ethan Hawke to Co-Star Alongside Anne-Marie Duff in Broadway’s ‘Macbeth’
English actress Anne-Marie Duff will take the stage opposite Ethan Hawke for the upcoming Broadway production of “Macbeth.” Though Duff is widely known in the London theater circuit, this marks her first time acting on Broadway.
The 42-year-old actress was nominated for an Olivier Award (Britain’s equivalent of the Tony Awards) for best actress in 2008, but is best known for her groundbreaking performance on the British television series “Shameless.”
Directed by the Tony Award winner Jack O’Brien, “Macbeth” will begin performances on Oct. 24 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater.
