Chopard Named Official Jeweler for Upcoming Princess Diana Biopic
Chopard is making sure that Princess Diana will be portrayed in the hautest way possible.
The Swiss watch and jewellery company has just been announced as the official jeweller of the Princess Diana biopic, which hits theaters this September.
A selection of jewellery and other accessories appear in the final cut of the film Diana, which stars Australian actress Naomi Watts as the princess herself.
Watts will wear a selection of pieces from Chopard’s Happy Diamonds collections. As Diana often wore earrings without any other accompanying jewellery, Chopard provided a pair made from oval sapphires and set with diamonds to reflect the earrings that matched the Princess’s famous engagement ring, which her son William used to propose to his wife, Kate.
Diana is the latest film that Chopard has worked on. Others include Elizabeth: The Golden Age, Nine and Midnight in Paris.
