Planeta Wine Dinner at Lockwood

On Wednesday, July 10, 2013, Lockwood Restaurant & Bar (17 E. Monroe Street), welcomes renowned winemaker Penny Murray of Planeta Wines for an exclusive wine dinner, The tasting menu for this event will feature Executive Chef Joseph Rose’s signature modern American cuisine, with each dish specially created for this event, to complement each of the wines presented. The evening will include a welcome reception with Planeta “la Segreta” wine, during which time the guests will be able to speak to the winemaker to learn more about the portfolio. The Menu

Chef Rose pairs summer dishes that blend harmoniously with the selections of Planeta Winery. The tasting will begin with light ocean mixes, continuing with hearty Midwest courses, and finishing off with a Rose’s own non-traditional “spin” on prosciutto and melon.
