Leica Makes Its LA Debut
Leica finally has a presence in LA.
The German camera manufacturer heralded its arrival in the City of Angels on Thursday night at 8783 Beverly Blvd. with an intimate fete in collaboration with a world-renowned denim company.
Recording artist Seal was on hand to display his photographs alongside works by Mary Ellen Mark and Yariv Milchan as well as a one-of-a-king sculpture by famed Chinese artist Liao Yibai.
The new three-storied space houses a gallery, retail space and library.
Leica also unveiled a new special edition camera at the event, which was attended by Peter Facinelli, Marcia Cross, Russell Simmons, Estella Warren, Grace Phipps, Serinda Swan and Keegan Allen.
