Jeffrey Katzenberg is heading to USC to deliver the opening address at Redefining Animation, the 25th annual conference for the Society of Animation Studies.

All eyes will be on the DreamWorks Animation CEO and chief creative officer Bill Damaschke, who will both attend the ceremony, hosted this year by the USC School of Cinematic Arts’ John C. Hench Division of Animation & Digital Arts.

The event will include keynotes from character animator and USC professor Tom Sito; artist Davide Quayola; SCA’s Electronic Arts endowed chair of the interactive media and games division Tracy Fullerton; Oscar-winning visual effects supervisor and USC professor Michael Fink; robotics designer David Hanson; and Oscar winning actress Geena Davis, founder of the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media.
