MoMA’s Party in the Garden

The Museum of Modern Art’s Party in the Garden on May 21 celebrated Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Cindy Sherman, and Ellsworth Kelly’s support of MoMA, along with Mr. Kelly’s 90th birthday. Attendees sipped on cocktails in the museum’s chic and colorful backyard and dined under lavish trellises in the lobby. The Grammy award-winning musical sensation Fun performed a late-night concert in the Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Sculpture Garden, featuring their top hits “Some Nights” and “Carry On.” Sponsored by Cartier, the event sparkled and shined as bright as its guest list, including Anna Wintour, Rachel Roy, Marie-Josée and Henry Kravis, Jamie Tisch, John Currin, Diane von Furstenberg, Jeff and Justine Koons, Francisco Costa, Rachel Feinstein, Jerry Speyer, Donald Marron, Ariana Rockefeller, Indre Rockefeller, Polina Proshkina and Renée Fleming.
