Haute Scene : Adrienne Arsht Center Gala
The Adrienne Arsht Center celebrat ed its annual gala with a performance by Harry Connick Jr. and a surprise $1 million gift by Foundation Board Member Swanee DiMare and her husband Paul DiMare. The couple will have a stage named after them in the center for their generosity. Connick’s performance, for which he played hits from his Great American Songbook, helped the center have a fundraising record and the most successful gala in their history. Miami Haute 100-lister Adrienne Arsht served as the Honorary Gala Chair along with co-chairs Margaret and Mike Eidson and Rick Schatz.
