‘Come Fly With Us’ Soiree Celebrates the 2013 Rodeo Drive Concours d’Elegance

The Rodeo Drive Committee invited guests to “Come Fly With Us” high above Beverly Hills on Wednesday evening in honor of this year’s Concours d’Elegance.

Guests enjoyed mid-century inspired canapés and cocktails on the rooftop of the Thompson Beverly Hills to celebrate this year’s theme of “The Jet Age.”

Dene Nui, the General Manager of the Thompson Hotel, gave a welcoming speech before Jim Jahant, head of the Rodeo Drive Committee, introduced The Honorable John Mirisch, Mayor of Beverly Hills.

Mirisch announced that the original Batmoblie will be among the vintage cars featured during this year’s June 16 Concours d’Elegance. 

Additionally, Jay Huffschmidt from Porsche spoke about celebrating the 50th birthday of the Porsche 911 during the event, while Paul Vitagliano and Gino Jooyan from Bombardier and Flexjet spoke about the highly anticipated Learjet 85 that will land in Beverly Hills next month.
