Popular global lifestyle and hospitality brand, Nikki Beach, will be returning to the Cannes Film Festival this year for the 11th consecutive year. There will be two locations, Nikki Beach La Terrasse on the rooftop of the JW Marriott Cannes, and Nikki Beach Le Club @ Les Marches at the Palais des Festivals building next to the red carpet.
From May 15 – 26, the two pop-up locations of Nikki Beach will be open during the 66th Annual Cannes International Film Festival.
Founder and Owner of Nikki Beach Worldwide, Jack Penrod, said, “Since we started doing pop-up(s) at Cannes International Film Festival back in 2002, the goal each year has always been to provide a welcoming and comfortable alternative for industry elite, journalists, and film lovers alike, to unwind, celebrate, dine or simply lounge during the hectic film festival circuit. This year, we are excited to welcome guests back to Nikki Beach La Terrasse and debut a new concept in a new venue – Nikki Beach Le Club @ Les Marches.”
A-list celebrities known to frequent Nikki Beach locations include Woody Allen, Bono, Harrison Ford, Jude Law, Michael Douglas, Naomi Watts, Penelope Cruz, Ryan Gosling, Sting and more.
Nikki Beach Le Club @ Les Marches will be located at 1 Boulevard de la Croisette in Cannes, within the Palais des Festivals et Des Congress building. It will be open to the public from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. daily and guests will be able to enjoy celebrity performances, guest DJs, fashion shows and more. This pop-up location will display a Special Edition Remy Martin Box during the festival, composed of four bottles, each signed by Cannes Jury members from 2010-2013, including Robert De Niro, Uma Thurman, Jean Paul Gaultier, Ewan McGregor, Diane Kurger and 2013 Jury President Steven Spielberg, among others.
Nikki Beach La Terrasse will be located at 50 Boulevard de la Croisette on the rooftop of the JW Marriott Cannes and will include the all-white décor seen at all Nikki Beach locations. It will be open from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. daily serving lunch, dinner and cocktail hours. The space will also function as meeting space, press junkets and interviews. Actress Eva Longoria will be on hand to host her exclusive Global Gift Initiative dinner in aid of The Eva Longoria Foundation and The Children’s for Peace at La Terrasse during the festival.
Nikki Beach has also just announced that they will be opening a brand new permanent Nikki Beach location in Ibiza, Spain this summer. This will be the brand’s 12th location worldwide.
