News | May 28, 2013

Anderson Ranch Arts Center has named Nancy Wilhelms its new executive director. She will take the lead at the Snowmass Village-based nonprofit June 1, replacing Barbara Bloemink who is leaving the ranch to pursue other opportunities, according to a press release.

“Nancy is a member of the Ranch family and has excellent business and leadership skills, as well as a background in fine arts.  She is a relationship-builder with a proven track record,” commented Ann Korologos, Chair, Board of Trustees.  “Nancy takes the helm as we head into an outstanding summer season.”

Wilhelms has served as Director of Marketing and Communications at Anderson Ranch since summer, 2011.  Prior, she was president of WestGroupOne Marketing Communications, Inc., a firm she founded in 1982 serving national and international corporate clients.  She has served as press secretary to Nevada Governor Robert List, director of marketing for a Las Vegas hotel group, director of communications for Harnischfeger Corporation, a Fortune 500 company, and program manager for Milwaukee Summerfest.
