The Los Angeles Ballet presented one very glamorous affair on April 20 with the arrival of its annual Rubies fete. Gala Chairs Lori Milken and Kirsten Sarkisian were on hand to honor Nigel Lythgoe and philanthropist Linda Duttenhaver at the intimate gathering, held inside the Beverly Wilshire’s grand ballroom. Speeches from the gala chairs and honorees were followed by an elegant dinner at the Haute Living-sponsored event before ballerinas from the Los Angeles Ballet took to the stage for a preview performance of Balanchine Festival RED . Relativity Media founder Ryan Kavanaugh then auctioned off walk-on parts in his latest film, The Crow, helping to raise $200,000 for the ballet. Additional guests included Michael Milken, Rosetta Getty, Balthazar Getty, David Arquette, James Van Der Beek, John Terzian and Markus Molinari.
