Haute Event: Missy Elliott Puts on a Show-Stopping Performance at Haze

Missy Elliott, in town for a very rare club performance, was on a mission to leave her mark on Haze Nightclub at Aria on Thursday night. Kicking off her show from the deejay booth, Elliott insisted she stay in her comfort zone. Midway through her first song, she cut the music and hopped on the catwalk asking the crowd to get wild. Elliott was so focused on getting the crowd going, she even asked everyone at Haze to turn off their cell phones, stop filming and just have fun.

The energy skyrocketed and the six-time platinum artist delivered a mind-blowing set with some of her biggest hits including “Get Ur Freak On,” “Gossip Folks” and “Work It” even bringing out four of her own back up dancers. Making the fans go crazy, Elliott took a stroll through Haze while performing, making her way around the venue and to the upstairs balcony where her table was.
