COLLECT International Art Fair at London’s Saatchi Gallery

You have to hand it to London, what it lacks in amiable weather it makes up for with innovative art fairs and galleries. The latest is “COLLECT: The International Art Fair for Contemporary Objects” at the Saatchi Gallery in Sloane Square taking place this weekend.

COLLECT is celebrating its tenth year of bringing together the best collection of international galleries and their exciting portfolio of artists all in one place. This year, 32 galleries and 11 Project Spaces will put forth more than 400 artists who will offer works in ceramic, glass, jewelry, textiles, wood, silver and fine metalwork.

And as the name suggests, this is a haven for art collectors. With a handful of new galleries exhibiting, coming from as far as the Republic of Korea, Japan and the not-so-far-flung Belgium, it is guaranteed to be an eclectic mix of lust-worthy pieces.
