Azzedine Alaia has finally created a menswear collection, and Angelenos were the first to see his efforts.

The haute designer has created costumes for a production of The Marriage Of Figaro opera in LA.

The new costumes made their debut over the weekend during four performances at the Walt Disney Concert Hall.

Men were clad in simple trousers and shapeless white suits while the women donned leather, skater skirts and knit dresses.

The Paris-based designer has previously created costumes for French ballet, A Thousand and One Nights by Angelin Preljocaj in Aix-en-Provence.
