Haute Philanthropy: The Mourning Family Foundation (MFF) rebranding launch

Yesterday in Miami Beach, MFF board members, donors, fellow haute philanthropists gathered for a luncheon at Prime 112 to announce the new name, new website www.mourningfamilyfoundation.org, rebranding and stellar board of The Mourning Family Foundation, formerly Alonzo Mourning Charities.

Board members include Stephen Boucher, Shakim Compere, Ralph Patino, Linda Coll, Salo Grosfeld, Michael Fux, Allen Furst, Albert Dotson Jr, Rick De La Croix, Ron Book, Jerry Powers and Tracy and Alonzo Mourning who have all undertaken the fiduciary responsibility  of raising 3.4 million dollars a year to fund all MFF programs which include the Overtown Youth Center and Honey Shine Program.

Guests were treated to a very special menu curated by Myles Cheftz, owner of Prime 112 and delicious cocktails by Xante. BMW was also on hand with their latest 750Li and 760 Series, who transported the Mourning’s to the event.

Next up for the Mourning Family Foundation: the 11th Annual Hats Off Luncheon on May 7th, 2013 at Parrot Jungle in Miami Beach. You are all invited to attend!
