Carolina Herrera made an appearance at her chic Bal Harbour boutique on Saturday. She presented her Carolina Herrera Fall 2013 collection, which featured beautiful long dresses in green, blue and reds. The trunk show slash cocktail party was hosted by Town&Country and art patrons Darlene Perez, wife of Jorge Perez, and Debra Scholl, wife of Dennis. The party was a celebration of the reopening of MAM as the Perez Art Museum this fall, which tied in nicely with the fall collection, even if it was just a fun excuse for Perez and Scholl, hardcore Herrera fans, to bring them all together.  In addition to Herrera’s designer dresses, display cases showed Steven Neckman’s vintage 1940’s and 50’s designer jewelry. The jewelry is for sale in New York and LA locations, but was on display at the Bal Harbour store just for the event and included pieces from brands like Van Cleef & Arpels, Cartier and Bulgari.  Attended by the designer herself, daughter Patricia Herrera and MAM’s most influential donors the party was a warm, yet posh scene. Members of the MAM Benefactor Circle stayed after the party for an exclusive dinner at Mokoto following the fashion and champagne-soaked fete.
