Haute 100 LA Update: Tom Cruise Opens Up About Katie Holmes Divorce, Premieres New Film in LA
It’s been almost a year since they decided to call it quits, and it seemed like Tom Cruise had finally decided to discuss his split from ex-wife Katie Holmes.
The 50-year-old was quoted saying of Holmes’ decision to file for divorce on the German entertainment show Taff: “I didn’t expect that. Life is a challenge. To be 50 and have experiences and think you have everything under control, and then it hits you — that’s what life is. … Life is tragicomic. You need a certain sense of humor.”
His representation, however, is singing a different song, saying the German interview was about his lengthy career and his latest film, Oblivion.
