Trois Mec is the new Hancock Park restaurant from Ludo Lefebvre (The Taste, LudoBites), Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo (Animal, Son of a Gun). Located in the former Raffalo’s location, Trois Mec (French for “three guys”) may be about a month from opening, but its already receiving rave reviews.

According to Grubstreet, Trois Mec has already been written about by the Los Angeles Times, who described the highly-anticipated restaurant as “intimate” with marble floors, mirrored walls, an open kitchen, counter seating for 24, and wall-bound wood benches at the tables.

The owners are keeping the menu under wraps so far, but Grubstreet did manage to get word from Lefebvre who said the menu will “be a set selection based on France’s ‘bistronomie’ movement and priced around $70.” Lefebvre reportedly told the Los Angeles Times that Trois Mec will be different from other ‘bistronomics’ in the area because he plans to bring a “little taste of fine-dining back into the game…to find that spot between Animal and Providence.”

A select few will be fortunate enough to preview the menu by having a credit card label that allows for private dinners at Trois Mec as of April 2, but everyone else will continue to wait for their chance to experience LA’s new haute spot.
