The Tony Awards, the star-studded award show that honors the best of Broadway, will once again take place at the famed Radio City Music Hall. The show had been hosted at Radio City from 1997-2010, but was forced to move to the Beacon Theater on Manhattan’s Upper West Side after Cirque du Soleil moved into the 6,000-seat Rockefeller Center arena. Because of the drastic change in venue size, event organizers struggled to seat the large amount of show producers. But luckily, a new arrangement has been reached and the show will will be broadcast live by CBS from Radio City Music Hall on June 9.
