Santa Monica’s Hotel Shangrila Gets Multimillion Dolalr Facelift

The lovely coastal town of Santa Monica just got a little more beautiful thanks to the facelift one its most iconic properties has received.

The Hotel Shangrila on Ocean Ave. has finally put the final touches on its multimillion dollar ” A Star is Born” renovation.

Each of the property’s 71 suites and rooms have been furnished with furnishings and authentic collectibles sourced from the Art Deco period.  All accommodations have European-inspired modern bathrooms and a host of thoughtful amenities.

In celebration, the architectural landmark, built in 1939, is celebrating with special packages.

“Your Very Own Private Shangrila” and “The Artful Lodger” are designed to let guests experience a gracious and completely relaxing stay in its new, dramatically decorated art deco suites.
