Patxi’s Pizza Partners with SF Giant to Raise $$ for Schools
Patxi’s Pizza has partnered with San Francisco Giant Matt Cain and Tory Belleci and Kari Byron of Mythbusters fame to raise $34,000 for Marin Primary and Middle School.
Patxi’s Pizza (pronounced PAH-cheese.), is headquartered in Marin.
The fundraising event that took place on March 2, 2013 resonated with Patxi’s founder Bill Freeman who facilitated the donation of two coveted experiences for the school silent auction.
Freeman arranged for two opportunities to “Meet & Greet” Tory Belleci and Kari Byron at the Mythbusters studio in San Francisco followed by lunch at Patxi’s Pizza. Mythbusters is a cult-followed, Emmy-nominated series that uncovers the truth behind popular myths. The silent auction experiences sold for $12,000 each.
A unique experience to star in a video with San Francisco Giant Matt Cain sold for $10,000. The video will feature a meet and greet with the baseball superstar and cutting-edge production by Flashlight Media.
Says Bill Freeman, “We are so honored to support Marin Primary and Middle School because we believe in their interactive and integrated approach to education and want to do everything we can to support the Marin community, where are corporate office is based.”
