Meet Hiip. The Bay Area company just launched their collection of hip and stylish bags that carry a purpose.

Hiip held their recent launch at San Francisco’s Alibi Restaurant and lounge, where an intimate group of fashionistas, philanthropists, and media members had first dibs at Hiip designs aptly named after San Francisco neighborhoods: Sunset, Marina, Mission, and Pac Heights.  Founder Nicole Flowers was on hand to help guests style their multi-functional Hiip bags, which can be worn as a regular purse, across the body or on the hip.

Bay Area native Flowers grew up aware of the ever growing homeless population and wanted to combine her passion for fashion with helping those less fortunate.  She came up with the idea to launch a new and improved hip bag that women could wear, not just for style, but for a larger purpose.  So Hiip was born. Within a matter of a year, Flowers designed the fashionable bags and created a program to donate a “hiip Kit” of toiletries to various shelters in San Francisco every time a hiip bag is purchased.
