More than 400 corporate, philanthropic and community leaders convened at the Yerba Buena Center for the 2nd annual “Y for Youth” luncheon benefiting the youth programs of the YMCA of San Francisco.

The luncheon, held at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, raises money and awareness for YMCA’s ongoing programming in San Mateo, San Francisco, and Marin Counties.

Hosted by Ramon Gomez, a junior from Gateway High School and longtime beneficiary of the YMCA Youth Programs, this year’s event showcased the vast talents of San Francisco’s youth; over 100 students participated in the creation of art, spoken word and hip hop poetry for the event.

The event brought many San Francisco notables including Chuck Collins, President and CEO of the YMCA; Jason and Matthew Goldman, grandsons of insurance and philanthropic legend Richard Goldman and Tyler Mitchell, Co-owner of Wilkes Bashford.
