Haute Scene : Bvlgari Hosts Dinner Celebrating Elizabeth Taylor’s Rare Jewel Collection
Diamonds were definitely a girl’s best friend on Feb. 19, when Hollywood’s hottest stars stepped out in Beverly Hills to fete Elizabeth Taylor’s rare collection of Bvlgari baubles. Julianne Moore turned heads wearing the $6.1 million emerald and diamond pendant that Richard Burton gave to Taylor as a wedding gift, while other actresses wore modern-day pieces from the Italian jewelry house. Naomi Watts, Drew Barrymore, Kirsten Dunst, Princess Patricia Ruspoli, Prince Emanuele Filiberto di Savoia and Princess Clotilde Courau were among the guests who joined Veronica Bulgari for an intimate dinner of veal saltimbocca and black olive bread crumbed monkfish piccata at the Rodeo Drive boutique.
