Haute Events: Arturo Fuente Celebrates Special 100th Anniversary Edition Hublot Timepiece

A VIP list of watch and cigar fans gathered on the rooftop of The Betsy South Beach Hotel last week for a special celebration unveiling the Hublot King Power “Arturo Fuente” timepiece sponsored by Haute Time and Fraser Yachts. The watch was created to mark the 100^th Anniversary of the storied cigar-maker responsible for the Opus X, which is one of the rarest and most expensive cigars in the world.

Carlos Fuente Jr, president of Arturo Fuente Cigars came in from the Dominican Republic for the party. The watch retails for $20,000- $40,000 depending on the model (there is both a gold and ceramic styles), with only 100 gold models being made.  The limited edition Hublots are full of design features bound to get cigar connoisseurs excited. The band looks like tobacco leaves, there is a cigar-box image etched on the case back and the watch.
