Dori’s World: Living It Up in London

During my first night in London, I stopped by the new spot Coyas for a great cozy dinner with Lisa Reuben, Ron Valk, Dino Lalvani, Tara Bernard and Peter Dubens. Then we went to the lounge, which was the perfect spot for my first night arrival. The next day was “beauty day” and time for catching up with friends. Andy Wong had people over to his apartment in Battersea. It’s fabulous and looks like an Austin Powers set. I capped off the evening with a lovely dinner at Bunga Bunga.

On Friday night, I celebrated Dino Lalvani’s 40th birthday with a 80-person seated dinner at 5 Hertford Street Members Club, which hosts Loulou’s nightclub. Fait Accompli planned such a lovely event. The dress code was black tie with an Indian Raj twist. So many people came out for the celebration including Nick Candy. Then on Saturday night, I went to a 500-person black tie event at One Mayfair. They flew in DJ Jackie from St. Tropez. Some of the guests included Prince Pavlos, Pia Getty, Prince Nicos, Nat Rothschild, Princess Beatrice, Serena Nikka, Caroline Bunster, Caroline Seiber, Rena Sindi, Jen Creel, Denis Basso, Santiago Gonzalez, Heather Kerzner, Eugenie Niarchos, Georgina Cohen, Francesca Versace, Ana Paula Junqueira and Jonathan Laurie.
