Champagne Tasting at Bluebird Chelsea

Considered an institution by London locals, Bluebird Chelsea is just the kind of restaurant that it sounds like — warm, inviting and where the pretty people come for brunch. It is after all on the King’s Road in Chelsea, where they not only have a courtyard, food store, wine cellar and stylish Art Deco bar, they also have a membership plan (oh-so-London). Wine manager Frederic Ahuir has put together an impressive and extensive wine list from around the world, so it is no surprise that Bluebird hosts wine dinners and other fabulous tasting events like the upcoming Bollinger Champagne Tasting.

For £30 per person guests can join Mentzendorff & Co.’s Howard Corrigan in tasting five different champagnes, including vintage varieties and rosés. Also included is a lovely selection of artisan breads and charcuterie from the Food Store. It’s the perfect pre-dinner activity. And we can’t think of any better way to spend a Thursday night!
