Blackberry Farm’s Proprietor Sam Beall Visits The Little Nell

News | March 11, 2013

Blackberry Farm proprietor Sam Beall visited Aspen this weekend, hosting a Southern Cocktail Party at Element 47 to debut his new cookbook  inside The Little Nell on Friday afternoon. “The Foothills Cuisine of Blackberry Farm” includes recipes and stories from the farm, which sits in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. The 4,200-acre estate is a luxury retreat nestled in the South. Here, Beall and his family have built an artisanal way of life revolving around wine and heirloom food. Prior to taking over Blackberry Farm, Beall apprenticed at The French Laundry and attended the California Culinary Academy. In Aspen, chefs from The Little Nell and Blackberry Farm Executive Chef Joseph Lenn created farm-inspired nibbles for guests, paired with Southern-themed cocktails.
