Bay Area Luminaries Sparkle at Bay Lights VIP Party
The world's largest LED light sculpture lit up the Bay Bridge and beyond on March 6. Neither rain nor cold could stop Bay Area luminaries from making their way to Hotel Vitale to view the 8 million dollar public initiative.

The world’s largest LED light sculpture lit up the Bay Bridge and beyond on March 6, when 25,000 LED lights were turned on as part of a massive light sculpture on the western span of the Bay Bridge.
Neither rain nor cold could stop Bay Area luminaries from making their way to Hotel Vitale to view the 8 million dollar public initiative. Patrons and the public huddled under their umbrellas for brief speeches from Lt. Governor Gavin Newsom, Mayor Ed Lee and the artist, Leo Villereal.
This stunning fine art display will shine from dusk until 2am every night until May 5, 2013.
