1 OAK Nightclub to Open on Sunset Boulevard

New York City’s popular and exclusive nightclub, 1 OAK, born of the namesake catch phrase “1 of a kind,” will be opening a new location in Los Angeles on Sunset Boulevard. Though there is currently a Vegas branch of the club in the Mirage, this new location will be the first New York nightclub to open in L.A.

According to LA Eater, the Los Angeles location of 1 OAK will open in the “recently shuttered Key Club on Sunset Boulevard with an estimated launch of late December 2013.” The Vegas branch of 1 OAK at the Mirage opened on New Year’s Eve 2011 by Butter Group following the success of its Chelsea flagship. Darren Dzienciol and New York Partners Scott Sartiano and Richie Akiva (who debuted the New York location five years ago) are behind the upcoming Los Angeles location.

Perhaps giving an indication of what will soon arrive in Los Angeles, 1 OAK’s website boasts that their New York location features “a rotation of world-renowned DJs and surprise performances, a captivating interior and a stellar standard of service… providing a nightlife sensibility that caters to even the worldliest of partygoers.”
