Haute Event: New World Symphony Celebrates 25th Anniversary With Gala and Harry Winston Pop Up

The New World Symphony’s annual gala celebrated the institution’s 25th anniversary and its conductor, Michael Tilson Thomas. A Harry Winston pop-up was erected with watches, rings, earrings and a breathtaking necklace. Sparkling cases and live models displayed the mega-jewels that were up for silent auction. This year’s gala theme was West Side Story, which was woven into a spectacular multi-media performance that included Broadway performers.

After dinner was served, gala patrons that included notables Lin & Sarah Arison, Emilio & Gloria Estefan, Christian Slater, Jorge & Darlene Perez, Sari & Arthur Agaston Susan Kronick, Ugo & Sara Columbo, Ambassador Steven Green, Desmond Child and Marty Margulies were joined by late night after party guests. The party moved into the transformed concert hall for a fun fete that included swinging music by Michael Andrew and the Atomic Big Band.
