Fashion Designers Create Personalized License Plates for NYFW

To celebrate the start of New York Fashion Week, the event’s official sponsor, Mercedes-Benz, asked 30 designers and front-row regulars to create Fashion Plates (i.e. personalized license plates) for a project that benefits amfAR, The Foundation for Aids Research.

Some of the individuals asked to participate include Rachel Zoe, Charlotte Ronson, Hilary Rhoda, Mia Moretti, Betsey Johnson, Anna Sui, Badgley Mischka, Karlie Kloss, Derek Blasberg and Danielle Nachmani. The custom license platess will be on display in the lobby of the Lincoln Center from February 7-14.
