English singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Ellie Goulding held a secret performance at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art on Monday, entertaining the crowd from within artist Chris Burden’s “Urban Light” sculpture.

According to The Huffington Post, Goulding slyly tweeted, “If you’re in LA and on your lunch break near LACMA I definitely won’t be there doing some songs around 2pm…”. She played a brief acoustic set that included a “passionate recital of ‘My Blood’” and an “equally moving ‘Starry Eyed’ … followed by the trendy admission of being a geek … and then a shimmering take on ‘I Know You Care’…and a truly wondrous ‘Anything Can Happen’ – acoustic.”.

Approximately 500 fans scurried to LACMA to see Goulding’s surprise 20-minute, mini-concert, according to The Hollywood Reporter. At the end of her performance, Goulding said, “All right, much love to you guys! Big hug, everyone!”

Following this pop-up performance at LACMA, Goulding headlined at Los Angeles’ famed Palladium.
