Dennis Basso Celebrates 30 Years at Fashion Week
Dennis Basso doesn’t always show his collection at Lincoln Center. His high quality and high priced furs and fabrics are sometimes left to more intimate presentations for New York’s leading ladies. But since this is his 30th Anniversary in the business, he put on quite the show. Those in the front row included Joan Rivers, Martha Stewart, Star Jones, Olivia Palermo, Kelly Bensimon, Joan Collins, and the Upper East Side’s finest including Joanne de Guardiola, Jamee Gregory and Michelle Herbert.
Down the runway came a colorful array of sables and minks, and a few evening gowns that will surely be seen at next year’s Fall galas. After the looks were presented, Dennis took his own stroll down the catwalk to a standing ovation.
