Chopard is the official partner of The Weinstein Company for major events in 2013, including the most prestigious international awards ceremonies and film festivals. The partnership and this year’s Oscar nominees were celebrated at an exclusive event held at Soho House West Hollywood on February 23.
The night before the 2013 Academy Awards ceremony, Chopard and The Weinstein Company held a joint celebration of Hollywood’s hottest stars and Oscar-nominated Weinstein films like Django Unchained, The Master, Silver Linings Playbook and Kon Tiki. The event took place at Soho House West Hollywood and included A-list celebrities like Jamie Foxx, Quentin Tarantino, Jennifer Lawrence, Neve Campbell, Salma Hayek, Adrien Brody, Leonardo DiCaprio, Amy Adams, Christoph Waltz, Bradley Cooper, Robert Di Niro, Chris Tucker, Harvey Weinstein, Kerry Washington, Juliette Lewis, Joaquin Phoenix, Emmy Rossum, and more.
Co-President and Artistic Director of Chopard Caroline Scheufele commented on the Chopard and Weinstein Company collaboration, “I am extremely happy to partner with The Weinstein Company on the most glamorous awards ceremonies and cinema festivals again in 2013. This year our partnership is growing and we have the pleasure of having Harvey as part of the Chopard Trophy jury, which awards two young acting talents during the Cannes Film Festival.”
Harvey Weinstein was equally proud of the partnership, and said, in part, “Caroline’s passion for film is evident throughout the company and particularly in Chopard’s amazing work at the Cannes Film Festival. We are very grateful to Chopard for their continued support of our films.”
Chopard is also the official partner of the Cannes Film Festival and the founder of the Chopard Trophy honoring young acting talents.
