Chicago Designer Makes New York Fashion Week Debut
Chicago’s very own Juju LaCour of Maison De LaCour made his New York Fashion Week debut on Wednesday, February 13. The show was part of Elle Magazine’s Style 360 presented by Conair. LaCour’s Fall/Winter 2013 collection, inspired by the grunge culture of the nineties, was shown at the Metropolitan Pavilion and featured fourteen looks. Don’t let the word grunge mislead you in any way, the collection was nothing short of refined and luxurious.
Conair produced a show that brought LaCour’s vision to life, and under the guidance of Luxury Management’s Ricardo Sebastian the show was a huge success. It’s safe to say that it will not be the last time we see Mr. LaCour’s amazing designs strut down a runway.
