
SimonLA Closes in The Sofitel and Reopens as Estérel
The Sofitel Los Angeles has a new dining experience for guests called Estérel, which has opened in Kerry Simon’s former SimonLA space. The new restaurant features French and Mediterranean food from the kitchen of the hotel’s executive chef Marius Blin.

The Sofitel Los Angeles has a new dining experience for guests called Estérel, which has opened in Kerry Simon’s former SimonLA space. The new restaurant features French and Mediterranean food from the kitchen of the hotel’s executive chef Marius Blin.
According to The Sofitel Los Angeles website, Estérel is the property’s “new restaurant set in a chic and stylish ambience.” Named after the mountains in southeast France that over look the sea, Estérel features “artfully prepared meals infused with accents of Mediterranean flavors for an incomparable dining experience.”
The new contemporary French restaurant’s menu includes “meals infused with accents of fennel, saffron and herbs de Provence” created by executive chef Marius Blin.
Estérel is open from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. and includes a terrace for al fresco dining.
