Model Coco Rocha Still Goes Door to Door As Jehovah’s Witness
With a flawless complexion, piercing blue eyes and a rockin’ body, it’s easy to see why model Coco Rocha has graced the cover of Vogue, walked the runways at Paris, Milan and New York fashion shows and appeared in ad campaigns for Chanel and YSL. But, it’s also highly unusual. The 24-year-old beauty is a devout Jehovah’s Witness who still goes door to door with her congregation “to inform people.”
“My faith is everything,” she declared in an interview with DuJour. Rocha has been a Jehovah’s Witness her entire life, but wasn’t baptized until 2009. Her husband, interior designer James Conran, also shares her faith.
“There aren’t many Witnesses who are in the public eye. I can’t even name any,” admitted Rocha. “Some people think we’re a pushy religion, but if you’re not interested, just say so.”
