Kelly Ripa: I Get Botox On My Eyelids & Armpits Every 7 Months

There’s a reason why audiences love Kelly Ripa: she’s honest. In an era where many celebrities shy away from talking about their plastic surgery, even injections, the 42-year-old talk show host is completely open about regularly receiving Botox.

“Every seven months or so my eyelid skin rests on my eyelashes,” Ripa explained in the February issue of Elle. “So I feel like it [getting Botox] makes my makeup artist’s life easier, and it makes my eyes look a little more open on TV, which is where I happen to work right now.”

But that’s not the only area that Ripa gets injected! The mother of three said that she also gets Botox injections in her armpits to help prevent sweating, which keeps her from getting unsightly stains while she’s on camera (and from dripping on the bike during her frequent spin classes at SoulCycle).
