Katie Holmes Is Definitely Not Showing At New York Fashion Week

We were holding out hope, but it’s official — Katie Holmes will not be showing at New York Fashion Week. As Haute Living mentioned earlier, Holmes & Yang, the clothing line that Holmes co-designs with her stylist Jeanne Yang, was noticeably absent from official schedule. Many fashion insiders assumed that Holmes was simply busy with her Broadway play “Dead Accounts” and hadn’t found time to submit a presentation, but still planned to show.

But it seems that’s not the case. According to Women’s Wear Daily, Holmes will not be showing at Fall 2013 Fashion Week. There’s no word as to why Holmes is sitting out this time, but hopefully it doesn’t mean the end of her label. The Spring 2013 collection received tepid reactions, but an outstanding amount of press.
